Who we are
Northbridge Collegiate is a private Canadian senior high school authorized by the Ontario Ministry of Education, supporting learners preparing for post-secondary education in Canada and globally.
Northbridge delivers Ontario-aligned secondary programming alongside structured academic transition and readiness programs designed to support learners at critical educational inflection points. The institution emphasizes academic alignment, intellectual maturity, and personal formation to support long-term student success beyond admission.
Northbridge Collegiate serves students from a range of prior educational systems and applies structured academic review and placement processes to support appropriate entry into the Ontario secondary programming.
All credit courses are assessed and evaluated in accordance with Ontario curriculum expectations and Ministry policy. Student progress toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is documented using Ministry-compliant records, including the Ontario Student Record (OSR)

Northbridge Collegiate is a private Canadian educational institution inspected and authorized by the Ontario Ministry of Education to deliver Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) programs in accordance with provincial requirements.
As a Canadian University Preparation institution, we offer secondary-level academic programs through both online and in-class delivery. Our Canadian University Prep model is designed to prepare students for successful entry into Canadian universities.
What Makes Northbridge Collegiate Different?
Northbridge Collegiate, Nigeria operates under licence by Northbridge Collegiate, Canada (BSID 886341), with both the Canadian and Nigerian campuses under the same leadership and academic authority. For parents, this matters because it means decisions about your child's education, support, and progression are made within one accountable system—not passed between partners or third parties.
At Northbridge, your child's academic records, credits, and diploma come directly from the school they attend. We are authorized to grant Ontario credits and issue the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) directly through Northbridge Canada. Because of this structure, we have the flexibility to design strong, age-appropriate support systems, which is especially important for students in Grades 11 and 12, a period when academic pressure, emotional development, and future planning all intersect
We also recognise that children are not all the same. We do not serve only the naturally high-performing student. We support academically able students and those who need structure, guidance, and confidence-building, because real education honours different strengths and learning paths.
Finally, Northbridge is mission driven. We focus only on senior secondary education (Grades 11 and 12) because these years are pivotal. Beyond grades, we intentionally develop students to become globally competent, thoughtful, and grounded young adults. Personal formation -Through purpose-led career exploration, leadership development, ethics, and civic responsibility, we help students understand not just where they are going, but who they are becoming.
Message from the Founder
Preparation for what comes next.
Through years of operating regulated businesses in Canada and working closely with a predominantly immigrant workforce—many of whom first arrived as international students—I witnessed firsthand how challenging it can be to balance academics, employment obligations, regulatory requirements, and cultural adjustment simultaneously.
I listened to their stories.
I observed capable individuals navigating school, work rules, immigration expectations, and unfamiliar systems—all at once, often without adequate preparation or support.
That experience led to the founding of Northbridge Collegiate.
Northbridge was designed as a preparatory academic institution to support students and families before entry and during transition into the Canadian university system. My background in educational neuroscience, psychology, and learning sciences provided the structure to translate what I observed in practice into an intentional academic model.
Grades 11 and 12 are not simply senior years—they are decision years. At this stage, academic records become permanent, pathways narrow or expand, independence accelerates, and the consequences of misalignment can be long-lasting. Northbridge exists to intervene thoughtfully at this critical point, concentrating our resources and expertise, with care where students face the greatest complexity and pressure.
Beyond grades and credentials, we help students develop the thinking skills, judgment, and responsibility required to function well in global academic and professional systems.
Our aim is to build strong academic, personal, and ethical foundations that students will carry long after they leave our classrooms. When our graduates succeed quietly and responsibly in environments we do not control, we know our work has been done well.
